I will definitely try these. I also make baked samosas, but I use the Lazy Dough method of Pillsbury pie crusts (the kind that comes in a roll, not the preformed stuff). I call them sham-osas because they are a little fake-y. I have also used premade empanada dough circles, called discos. I call those concoctions sam-panadas. The discos bake nice and crispy.

Hi Aarti…I just finished watching an episode you did at Foodnetwork and thought I would look at your bio which then led me to this blog site. Am so glad I did!! I’ve been reading your older entries and love how you and your husband share your faith and love of God. I’m going to bookmark your blog and will definitely be one of my “go to reads.” Plus, I do love Samosas and am glad you have a recipe for it. I’m definitely going to try and make this…and since it’s baked, I can eat more than one!

Yaaaay!! Finally a samosa that doesn’t need to be deep-fried! This will be super useful as Ramadhan is just around the corner =] Are you coming out with a book soon?? Please do! I would love to have all your wonderful recipes in hardback ;]
