I've tried your samosas again with a completely different filling... sweet potato, tangerine zest (and juice), and curry powder. Simple and just delish!!
Love the show on FN :)

Hey there! These look awesome! My hubs and I watched you on FNS, and just adored you! We tivo'd the premiere of your FN show and you were great! We are a traditional midwest american family with three kiddos and rarely make anything more exciting than homemade pizza or hamburgers! Ha! I have to say, your food looks incredible, and makes me want to break out of our little comfort zone. Keep up the great work, I can't wait to watch more of your shows! And also, I am so impressed by your faith in God. Blessings!

I think it's so cool how you still write on your blog, even though you are a super FN star now. I am your new fan from Puerto Rico. Sadly I can't watch your shows on FD because I go to church at that time and day soooo yeah... bummer. But no worries I will still keep up with your recipes online. BTW: I have never tried indian food, ever! It's not available in PR that I know of. Samosas will be my first try at it. They seem very similar to pastelillos. I guess every country has their own version. God bless Aarti. [:

Aarti, I am so excited to see Indian flare featured on FN now. I am excited to see your recipes and I plan to write them all down. I am so happy you did these bake style and it looks less fattening than fried. I wrote this recipe down this morning and plan to make these this week and share them with special people. Thank you and looking forward to your show today.

I was just showing my mom your recipes because (I'm actually not familiar with them either) I had just told her you had won the next food network star and she was curious.

I was not expecting the mango in the samosa. That's AWESOME.

I WILL BE MAKING THAT. YUM.
