[...] I’ve blogged before about how much I love Angie Smith’s blog, Bring the Rain. Her honest, humble and humorous (hey HEY! Alliteration! ((Dork). Oops where was I?) thoughts on God have influenced my own stuttering blurt-outs so much. [...]

I found this blog today, and have been perusing it for the better part of the day.

This topic may be stale and old, but Aarti, I am not a religious woman, although I fully support others in their religious niches. I usually don't like hearing people talk about their religion, though, because all too often they can get pedantic and condescending, and who wants to feel like they're being berated?

But the way you describe your religious epiphanies, your religious musings, the way religions sneaks its way into the simple joys of your everyday living, it's a treasure to read, and I encourage you to continue to keep writing about it, and to take me (us) along on your journey! We're here with you! Keep it up, girl!

I clicked on the link for Bring the Rain yesterday at work and have been reading through Angie's blog. I don't cry easily but I had to lock my door because it was getting embarassing. It was especially moving and inspiring because I have my own kids now. Thanks for sharing the link! Bacon and peanut butter do sound good together.
