Making Things

I started on this hat a long time ago, nearly finished it and then frogged it because it was entirely too big.

But now it’s done! I present to you, my crocheted slouchy beret!

The design is from interweave crochet.

I loves it!

I am also in the process of making a buttermilk/blood orange/caramelized banana ice-cream. It’s freezing right now. I’ll let you know the verdict (and the recipe) tomorrow!

For now, just a teaser:

It is beautiful Aarth. I am so glad that God has given you so many talents.

You better make one for Bren as well, you know what is going to happen to your hat otherwise;)

That hat is WAY cool! And, as you know, I am a hat officianado. That is probably not the right spelling but I am too lazy to check it.

I really like this hat. I want to make it…eventually.
You look lovely with it on.

Is that your porch/patio/balcony? It looks so bright and sunny.

It was 70 here today, a little taste of California weather.
