I know this is an old post, but I'm a new fan of yours and am having a great time catching up on old blog entries! From seeing you on The Next Food Network Star and catching your show, I thought I'd make a suggestion to add to what I'm sure is a wonderful banana bread recipe: crystallized ginger. I made banana bread recently with both the ginger and chocolate chips and it was so good! The ginger adds a nice little bite to counter-balance the chocolate. Even my toddler loved it...but she's no dummy, anything with chocolate and banana is going to be well received in her book!
